Welcome to the Rice Ranch

We are a speciality horse ranch in the middle of the Sam Houston National Forest, in San Jacinto County, Texas.  It is a great place to raise and enjoy horses.  We are raising quality APHA and AQHA registered horses that have great bloodlines, show quality, are easy to handle, gentle and very people friendly. The horses are worked with from the day they are born until they are purchased.   It is always a pleasure to have visitors look at our animals, and buy some if they find what they want.  We center our breeding around horses that show at Halter, and then ride as western pleasure or trail horses.
